Attractive lake sultanpur

Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is an exceptionally famous national park of India. Situated in Sultanpur town, Farukhnagar, Gurugram area in Haryana State. Sultanpur town is found 40 km from Dhaula Kuan in Delhi and 15 km from Gurugram city on the Gurugram – Jhajhar roadway. This bird asylum, perfect for birding and bird lookers, is best visited in winters when numerous transitory birds come here.

Haryana government has completed various advancement works at Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary like development of hills, augmenting of ways, and burrowing four cylinder wells. Endeavors are being made to improve vegetation in the region by planting more trees, which are mainstream with the birds like ficus spp. Acacia Nilotica, Acacia Tortilis, Beris and Neem.

A portion of the occupant birds are  hoopoe, paddyfield pipit, purple sunbird, little cormorant,, Eurasian thick-knee, dim francolin, dark francolin, Indian roller, white-throated kingfisher, spot charged duck, painted stork, white ibis, dark headed ibis, little egret, extraordinary egret, dairy cattle egret, and the India peaked warbler.
